Minus 27 this morning!

Wow, it is minus 27 degrees in Cross Lake this morning. It's this kind of weather that makes spring feel so good! The weather man said it is going to warm up to the mid 30's this weekend. It's time to break out the shorts and sun glasses. A great weekend for ice fishing or a little cross country skiing.
Plugged condensate drain will shut down your furnace
by William Schmidley on 02/04/11I have had to service many furnaces that stopped working because their condensate drains plugged. Make sure your condensate stays clean. Look around the drain and keep it clean.
Remember to shut off your water pump when you leave.
by William Schmidley on 02/03/11Now that it is below freezing remember to shut off your water pump when you leave your cabin. This year we have seen many freeze ups due to malfunctioning furnaces. If you are not around to catch this and your pipes break with the pump on the water runs till you return. By that time your cabin will be ruined.
